Born from the abyss at the fringes of time and space, the Progeny, a ghastly and deformed alien species, serves horrifying unknown entities—harbingers of destruction, chaos, and madness.
Shrouded in mystery, almost no being in the cosmos knows their true origin, giving rise to endless legends.
These beings are believed to have been born as a side effect of the shattering of Ouros, the Shard of Origin. This event unleashed a multidimensional energy discharge, distorting the fabric of space-time and giving rise to unspeakable creatures and monstrous entities, worshipped as sacred deities by the Progeny.
Progeny Beyond Time is a World centered around destruction and negative effects. Its gameplay style is slow, focusing on board control through powerful actions that can easily wipe out any creature. With destructive effects, it immediately seizes control of the board, leveraging creatures with potent abilities triggered upon their death. It relies on moderately strong creatures that gain power as the game progresses: reaching an end-game against this realm is often lethal.
Its goal is to heavily slow down the opponent's game with negative effects like discard or creating Void, aiming to secure a favorable board position in the long term.
This realm struggles to control enemy Shards and to consistently obtain its own. A highly aggressive deck, such as those from Lost Eden or Ancestral Lodge, could easily steamroll Progeny Beyond Time. Even a deck with enough creatures could pose a challenge to Progeny, potentially exhausting its removal actions earlier than desired.
