Digital Collectibles

Dawnshard will feature digital collectibles in the form of procedurally generated Card Sets that players will use to compete in the game. These Card Sets, when minted as Non-Fungible Tokens (NFTs), offer players unique and verifiable ownership of their in-game assets, enhancing the gaming experience with scarcity and authenticity. In addition to that, they will be able to buy, sell or trade their Card Sets in Dawnshard's proprietary marketplace.

The initial decks provided to the players for gameplay will not be minted as NFTs but will be traditional Web2 in-game assets. Players will need to accumulate a specific in-game currency, Debristar, to be able to mint their decks as digital collectibles and trade them.

This approach ensures that while everyone can participate in the game from the outset, the process of minting NFTs remains a meaningful and rewarding milestone within the Dawnshard ecosystem. Additionally, other in-game assets such as skins, card backs, and other aesthetic items will be available and collectible as NFTs. These digital collectibles will provide further customization options, allowing players to personalize their gaming experience and showcase their unique style.
