Our war against cheaters and bots
At Heroes of Hecanos, we believe that competition is only meaningful if the playing field is level.
We are officially declaring war on anyone who tries to compromise the integrity of our game. Cheaters and botters are not welcome here, and we have built a fortress to stop them.
Why Cheating is Impossible
Unlike many other games, you cannot "hack" a match in Heroes of Hecanos.
Think of the game like a bank. In a bank, you don’t just tell the computer how much money you have; the bank’s central computer keeps track of every cent. ù
Similarly, our game is Server-Authoritative. This means that your computer (the "client") only shows you what is happening, but our server is the only one that makes decisions.
It’s the server that decides if a card can be played.
It’s the server that calculates damage.
It’s the server that declares the winner.
Because the "brain" of the game lives on our secure servers and not on your device, there is no way for a player to modify the game's code to force a win or cheat during a match.
Bug Abusing
Transparency is key. If you discover a glitch, bug, or unintended mechanic, you must report it immediately via our Discord channel.
Zero Tolerance: Consciously exploiting a bug to gain an advantage (winning matches, farming points, or manipulating the economy) is a severe violation.
Consequence: Immediate and permanent ban from the game.
Voiding: All points and rewards gained through the exploit will be removed.
The Hunt for Bots
"Botting"—creating fake accounts to farm points—is a direct attack on our community. We have zero tolerance for this.
Our Anti-Bot Fortress:
Behavior Tracking: We have developed a custom, proprietary system that automatically flags suspicious behavior. If an account acts like a machine rather than a human, our system catches it instantly.
Full Match Logs: We record and store every single match played by every single user.
Pre-Distribution Review: Before any Seasonal Prize Pool is distributed, our team performs a manual review of the leaderboard. No rewards are sent out until the rankings are cleared of suspicious activity.
The "Burn & Ban" Policy
If we catch a user botting or manipulating the system:
Permanent Ban: The offending account is immediately and permanently banned from the game.
Point Voiding: Any player who gained points by playing against a bot in a "suspicious" manner will have those specific points removed from their total. We ensure that fake victories never turn into real prizes.
Join the Resistance: Report Suspects
We are a community, and we protect each other. If you encounter a player whose behavior seems robotic or suspicious:
Open a Ticket: Head to our official Discord server.
Report: Use the dedicated reporting channel to flag the user.
Action: Our security team will personally investigate the match logs and take immediate action if foul play is confirmed.
